I am a full time Civil Engineer and part time photographer based in Larbert, Stirlingshire.  I've had an interest in photography ever since I was a youngster but it was around 8 years ago when I stepped into digital photography that my interest took off. The first digital camera I owned was an Agfa 1280.  I quickly moved on to Nikon, starting with a CP990, then a CP5700, a D70, a D200 and now a D300.

My main interests lie in Landscape and Travel photography and the galleries in this site display just some of the images I have taken in recent years.

I am extremely lucky to have a very understanding wife, Susan, who not only shares my love of travel but also, through her employment, has access to great vacation deals worldwide.  My other passion, hillwalking, takes me all over Scotland and to some extent competes with photography for my spare time.  Thankfully, in the main, the two complement each other perfectly.
